Owl be watching

He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake.  Don't tell Santa that I am the one who is awake.  I am trying to get things packed up to go to Wisconsin to craft for the weekend, and instead I am making cards.  I wanted to have a couple samples to share with my friend, Debby for ideas for the Christmas card class.  I know that I should not be playing with this, but the stamps were here, and the paper scraps were here, and I just had this idea, so I had to run with it.  I think I have a hard time going to bed when I still have creative ideas running in my head.  It's well after midnight, but I have creative mojo, and just have to let it go!  So, just for fun I thought I'd share this with you quick, and call it a night.  I just love this Owl Occasions stamps.  It's a must for the weekend, because I have ideas for all seasons and occasions, and I know I'll put it to much use.  The other thing I have to
get in the habit of doing is making the matching envelope, otherwise I always find myself going back later to do it, and you don't always have the matching paper for a flap if you want it.
It was the challenge at Jingle Belles that reminded me to do that when they suggested a card with matching envelope. Thanks Jingle Belles :)
Enjoy your weekend, and hope you have creative mojo, too.

  1. That little holiday owls is just too cute ... I love how you angled him like he's peeking out at the recipient ... and the decorated envelope is fantastic too ... so glad you joined our postal fun at jingle belles.

  2. you are VERY welcome, indeed! i was glad we had this challenge for exactly the same reason: i adore decorated envelopes but seldom take the time; it's good to have a "push" to remind us, right?! i absolutely ♥LOVE♥ that sweet owl stamp, and you have used him brilliantly here: on the outside, on the INSIDE and on that super-fab envelope! well done!!!
