Marvelous Possibilities

Oh how I am going to miss these colors when they retire.  I have to play with them as much as possible before the new catalog is released.  So when I saw these colors for the challenge at Fab Friday , I knew I needed to play along.  I found a wonderful layout at Freshly Made Sketches #185 , but I had to add a little to the banners in order to use all the colors for the other challenge.  And, I know that I have given this a bit of a stretch to play along with Crafty Boots Challenge, when they asked for Wings I thought that feathers would do.  I have a beautiful cockatiel named Snowflake, and feathers are a way of life at my house.  She is allowed to fly loose all day, so we find her beautiful feathers all over the place, and I marvel at each one of them.  I have thought often about including some in my crafts.  I have enough of them.    The feathers and salutation come from the Lovely Amazing You stamp set.  Love the sayings...

  A couple weeks ago, my friend and I decided that we were going to challenge each other to make a different kind of card each week, to get us motivated and give us some direction.  With Mother's Day coming, I thought that making floral cards this week would be a great idea. I had seen a card using the Flower Shop flower to make your own background, and I have been dying to give it a try.  Because I took a limited amount of supplies with me this weekend to do some stamping up at our camper, it was the ideal time to do this.  I love this whimsical flower, and yet I can't remember using it before.  The idea of "Make Your Own Background" was the theme at Seize the Birthday Challenge this week.  Color Throwdown #340 had the perfect color combination, so I used Strawberry Slush, Pear Pizazz, and Coastal Cabana for my colors.  Then, the idea for the layout came from Sketch Frenzy Friday's challenge.  Around Retro Rubber challenge 13 "Anything ...
