Over the top Valentine
Isn't it funny how sometimes you have a great vision, but when you actually come to making the card, it just does not live up to the expectations? This is one of those cards. I don't think I have ever assembled and disassembled a card so many times. It started out with the red flocked paper that I had left from Christmas from Candlelight Christmas DSP, and I saw used on some Valentine cards. I wanted to frame it up with some Glimmer paper and really make it elegant. I tried backing it with white, no ivory that was embossed. No? How about pink? Embossed? No, too gaudy. Just when I thought I would leave it red, I had to walk away from it. Came back the next day and started playing with it again. Just was not speaking to me, so I decided to retire it.
