Perfect Pennants for me and you

I have have been so busy this week playing with all my new products and created a lot of fun cards for my display for an upcoming craft event this weekend.  I am going to be attending a two day, stay up all night-or sleep overnight if you must, scrapbook and card making event.  I went for the first time last fall, and had such a great time, and am looking forward to going with my friend Debby for the whole weekend.  It's been years since we have done a craft get-away weekend.
I have been feeling better, and finally have some creative flow, and so I have so many things that I want to get made for display, but I also look for some inspiration from other stampers and from challenge blogs to get my ideas flowing.  I try to bring my own twist to it, and sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.  I wanted to do something that was a little non-traditional, but also appropriate for Valentine's Day.  The Eastern Elegance DSP had the lacy look with a non traditional color choice.  I was going to add some hearts, but decided that a little lace doily gave it the romantic touch I was looking for.  The sentiments are from Perfect Pennants stamp set, and I know that inside is hard to read, but says "Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful".
I used the layout from Freshly Made Sketches #120 the sketch this week.  I loved using the new Banner Framelits for the challenge at Late Night Stamper's #241 challenge to use Dies or Framelits.  I like anything that makes the layout fast and easy is great with me.  Sentimental Sundays #191 was looking for Lovey Dovey cards, and this one is my version of romantic this week.
I better get back to the craft room, while the ideas are running wild.  Come back again soon, to see what else is new.
