Heartfelt Sympathy in Blue

It's always sad when you need a sympathy card, and you don't have one on hand.  On the other hand, creating a card with that personal touch that fits the person you are giving it to is nice, too.  I love the Floral Boutique DSP, and it was perfect pair with the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set.
When I saw the layout from Mojo Monday Challenge 494 today I thought it was perfect for that large sentiment I wanted to use.  It made for an easy, fast and fun card.
As I was making my card, I decided to add pink to my second card, because I had seen it as the color challenge from CAS-ual Fridays.  I don't know which I like better, the silver or the pink trimmed one?  Which is your favorite?

I loved using the Stitched Shapes Framelits for adding that little extra touch of interest to the simple shapes used in this card.  I just wish I had gotten the sentiment straight when I was lining up the oval.  I struggle with that every time I cut a sentiment with the ovals.  Must be my eyes!  I felt adding some little punched flowers distracted your eyes from that.  Did you even notice?
Come back and see what other new cards I've made this week.  Well, Dancing with the Stars is about to come on, and that's always my time in the craft room.  I can always get a little stamping done between the dances.  (I'll give this card a 7!)

    1. Thanks. It was fast and fun, and really turned out nice, if I say so myself.
