Fun Fold for a Perfect Mix
I couldn't help myself, I just had to make another card with Perfect Mix. I just love anything that has to do with baking, and was having so much fun with these stamps. As I was creating cards, my granddaughters were right at my elbow begging to make a card, too. One wanted to color some bowls, so I stamped them on a card for her. "Make 3" she says. The other wanted to cut out mixers like I was doing. They are quite the crafters.
I must admit that I saw this card on Dawn Olchefske's blog here, and absolutely loved it and thought it would be perfect layout to use with these stamps.
Then I realized that I could use the colors from CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #219, but later realized that my card was not really "CAS" (clean and simple).
The Seize the Birthday Challenge calls for using TWO DIFFERENT PATTERNED PAPERS, so I'll play along with their challenge, too.
What I love most about this card is the fun fold. I liked that the little card folds on the right and flips over the front panel. I popped my salutation up with dimensionals so I could tuck the little card under it to hold it closed, and later thought that it would have been easier to make a half panel on the left instead of an accordion fold, and will do that if I make this layout again (which I know I will, 'cuz I love it!)
I hope you enjoyed mixing it up with this card today, and come back to see what else I've been making in the craft palace.
