Smile, it's your birthday

I made about 150 swap cards for convention, and on the last day before I left, I made this card to swap.  It was the day before I was leaving, and I put my granddaughter down for a nap.  I had sewing and packing to do, but I just wanted to make one more card to swap.  I had mistakenly cut paper to short for the insert on a full card I was making for a swap, so I had a stack of short sheets.  I put them to good use for this card front.  I had seen the idea for this card, done with a circular stamp design, and I thought it would be fun made with my new Simply Stars stamp set.  It was stamped in Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar.  The greetings came from Happy Day and Remembering Your Birthday.  It was fast, simple, and a big hit with the swappers at convention.  It was the first to go in my general swaps.
This is one of the cards we will be making at our Simple Card Class tomorrow night, and if you let me know today that you are coming, I will make room for you.
I am submitting this card for a couple of challenges this week at Seize the Birthday where "Anything Goes" Birthday is the theme, and the Pink Elephant Challenge is looking for something "Masculine", and I think that's what I had in mind when I made this card.  In fact, I was going to add some rhinestones to the card originally, but decided that it would look more masculine without them, so that's the way I made it.
Hope you like the card, and stop back to see more.
