New "In Colors", no problem at ColourQ challenge 149

Could not resist another challenge today, so I pulled out the colors for the Colour Q Challenge #149 and whipped up another card.  Such bold colors, Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green, Certainly Celery, and White,  deserved my favorite bold stamp set, Betsy's Blossoms.
I used paper from Comfort Cafe DSP, and these patterns are what I call the 'flip side'.  Kind of like an old vinyl record, the second side sometimes had a really good song, but you bought it for the song on side one.  The Summer Starfruit just doesn't do anything for me, and I find it a challenge to just use it.  Kind of a funny yellow, but it grows on you, eventually.
I added a few pearls to give it some dimension, because I simply did all the stamping on one layer, except for the bird. You know that bird just needs to be airbound, so it always seems to get popped up on dimensionals.
I have found it fun to do a few card challenges, and this week was a good one, because I just lacked my usual enthusiasm in the craft room.  So, I check out challenge blogs, which I have found from other people's blogs I follow.  Funny story is that I copied down a couple sketches yesterday, and when I made this card today, I looked at one of those sketches, and prepared the card according to the sketch.  When I went to post my card on the other challenge site, I found out that it was just for Christmas cards.  LOL.  Too late to add a red bow or jingle bell, I guess.  Maybe tomorrow I can get this right.
Have fun this weekend, and hope you get creative, too.
