Looking out my window at another beautiful day with Happy You

It was so nice to have the windows open for a few days at my house here in Minnesota.  We have had such extremely hot days this summer, that it has been necessary to have the air conditioner on for about a month.  I was putting socks on to keep my feet warm in the cool house.  It feels so strange to say that the temperature dropped down to the 80's and that it felt comfortable to open the windows. It was really refreshing.  So, I pulled out this little card that I made about a month ago, after I had made the wonderful window card for my daughter and son-in-law's anniversary.  This card I used the stamp set called Happy You.  It has the cutest little stamps and I liked this little kite with the greeting "Hello There".  I sponged a little blue sky, but left enough white so that it looks cloudy.  How do you like that cute little posy on the window sill?  I just snipped a little paper and gave it some bend.  Of course, if it was at my house you would have to add some brown tips and dead leaves :)  The wallpaper is from retired DSP Everyday Enchantment, and the Baha Breeze ruffled satin ribbon was also retired this spring, but it just made the best valance.
Hope that you are having some enjoyable weather, too.  Come back and peak in my blog to see what's new again, soon.  Bye-bye!
